I was commissioned by GC to produce an instructional video for a dental implant surgical guide system. The video is 14 minutes in length and explains which parts of the product are used at each stage of the surgical procedure. Since the video was intended for professionals (dentists), the dental models had to be anatomically accurate down to the smallest detail. The client wanted to create elaborate 3D models from scanned data of plaster casts of the teeth, rather than using commercial 3D models, so 1/2 of the project was spent on modeling and texturing, which helped me develop my modeling skills.
Storyboards, subtitle designs, etc. were all provided by the agency.
